Our goals for this support group + workshop...

are to provide our attendees with an understanding of changes in their mood or motivation and find support through peer discussion, wellness strategies, and interactive exercises to use when feeling hopeless, sad or unmotivated. We want to help you take the steps to work past "winter blues" and what could be more than just that when experiencing Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) or seasonal depression.

For the discussion portion of this group... 

we will listen to one another in our experiences and learn simple tracking methods and mindfulness to better manage the symptoms of SAD as well as emotions of sadness or depression.

For the workshop portion of this group...

you will learn about the benefits of Art & Mental Health and walk through guided Mood-Boosting Art Exercises with our guest, Dianne Furphy, Spiritual Self-Love Coach & MS Counseling & Psychology/Art Therapy.

Dianne will be guiding us through presentations to help...

  • Learn about incorporating Art Therapy for your mental health, especially effects of SAD & Similar Depressive Feelings

  • Mood-Boost in the moment

  • Uplift our emotions and rebuild our reality


*You will need multiple pieces of paper and colored writing supplies of your choice (crayons, colored pencils, markers, etc) for this support group + workshop.


Seasonal affective disorder (SAD)...
